Many of you have been in contact with me about my duties as your Member of Parliament, so I thought you would be interested in my most recent End of Term Report which updates you on my latest activities.

150th Canada Day at Bushey’s Reveley Lodge

Oliver on Sunday took part in Reveley Lodge’s celebrations for the 150th Canada Day, the anniversary of the unification of Canada from separate colonies into one country.

Speaking this week, Oliver said: ‘I very much enjoyed Reveley Lodge’s celebrations for Canada Day this weekend.

Oliver Promoted in Latest Government Reshuffle

Oliver has been promoted to Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon MP, in the Government reshuffle following the recent General Election.

As PPS, he will be the Defence Secretary’s senior Parliamentary aide.

Meeting Hertfordshire’s Girl Guides in Potters Bar

Oliver last week visited the Hertfordshire Girl Guides during their camping expedition, the Great Patrol Hunt, in Potters Bar. The group of around 70 Guides, aged 10-15, was made up of several Patrols from across the county and the theme of the night’s event was ‘Girls Can Speak Out’.

Oliver Tours Stadium at Boreham Wood FC

Oliver last month paid a visit to Boreham Wood Football Club’s home ground, Meadow Park, following the news that BWFC have been awarded a grant from the Stadia Improvement Fund to make improvements stadium.
