Oliver Welcomes Government Funded Refurbishments at Bushey and Borehamwood Tennis Court

Oliver welcomes the news that both Meadow Park Tennis Courts, in Borehamwood and King George Recreation Ground Tennis Courts, in Bushey have now been refurbished thanks to investment from the Government.

 

This investment will ensure more people across Hertsmere have access to high-quality grassroots sports facilities.

 

The Conservative Government’s investment in sport is supporting the surge in grassroots participation and encouraging people to get active.

 

Oliver said: ‘I welcome this exciting new investment which will be a brilliant boost for local sport.

 

Funding for grassroots sports is essential to get people active and is so important for the nation’s physical and mental health.

 

Oliver added: So anyone inspired by Wimbledon next week should pick up a racket and give it a go at the newly refurbished courts!'
