Oliver speaking with the Prime Minister about today's announcement

Oliver Dowden, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Hertsmere, has welcomed a £3million infrastructure investment for the Elstree Way Corridor.

In today’s Budget, Chancellor George Osborne announced that Elstree Way Corridor, will receive a £3m investment, which will be used for expanding infrastructure, land remediation and accelerating development.

Oliver Dowden said:

"This is a welcome Budget boost for Borehamwood.

"The money will help us cope with the extra pressure on our infrastructure from developing the Elstree Way Corridor.

"With unemployment down in Hertsmere by more than a half under the Conservatives, this is more evidence that our long-term economic plan is benefitting Borehamwood.”
