Sir Oliver Dowden MP recently visited Elstree View Care Home.
Oliver gave a short speech and then participated in a question and answer session with residents.
The Care Home holds a monthly residents meeting with residents in which they request to participate in an activity or event. Previous activities include pottery classes, dance classes, a gardening club, falconry and a magician.
After his visit, residents continued to discuss politics.
Oliver said, ‘I enjoyed meeting residents and staff at Elstree View Care Home.
'As part of their monthly residents meeting, requests were made for having a discussion with their local MP.
'I happily obliged and took questions on solar farms, cyber security and the use of cash.'
