Sir Oliver Dowden MP has questioned the government on Artificial Intelligence.

At Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Questions, Sir Oliver asked the Secretary of State about using AI to deliver public services more efficiently and effectively.

Sir Oliver asked: 'Thank you, Mr Speaker. I am sure the Secretary of State will agree with me that people want their public services to be delivered efficiently and effectively. To that end, what discussions has he and his Department had with the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk in the United States about how we can harness the power of AI both to deliver better services but to also to scrutinise government spending and government data sets to eliminate waste and inefficiency?'
