Oliver recently visited the Health and Well-being event at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar.
The event, which is organised by Highview Patient Participation Group, Hertsmere Council and Parkview Patient Participation Group, provides over 25 stalls annually, offering well-being and health information services. Residents can wander around the stalls and listen to health talks provided by an array of groups, from Herts Police to local GP services.
Oliver said: “It was wonderful to drop by the Wyllyotts Theatre to visit the Potters Bar health and well-being event. It was fantastic to meet so many local health and well-being providers, from Scottish dancing to genomics.”
Sir Oliver caught up with residents at the event and spoke to the local health and well-being providers who had given up their afternoons to host such a well-attended event.
Oliver added: “It was great to see the community getting involved, there was something for everyone there.”
