Oliver Opens Borehamwood Care Home

Oliver on Saturday opened the new Radley Care Home in Borehamwood.

The home has recently undergone a thorough refurbishment and Mr Dowden was joined at the ceremony by a number of residents, new staff and local councillors.

Dropping into Borehamwood Bank

Oliver last month visited the Barclays bank in Borehamwood to meet with staff and hear about the work of the branch.

Speaking after the visit Oliver said: ‘It was very interesting to meet with the staff from Barclays on Shenley Road last week.

Oliver on Sunday took part in Reveley Lodge’s celebrations for the 150th Canada Day, the anniversary of the unification of Canada from separate colonies into one country.

Speaking this week, Oliver said: ‘I very much enjoyed Reveley Lodge’s celebrations for Canada Day this weekend.

Meeting Hertfordshire’s Girl Guides in Potters Bar

Oliver last week visited the Hertfordshire Girl Guides during their camping expedition, the Great Patrol Hunt, in Potters Bar. The group of around 70 Guides, aged 10-15, was made up of several Patrols from across the county and the theme of the night’s event was ‘Girls Can Speak Out’.
