Oliver Visits Local Schools During Parliament Week

Oliver last weekend visited Yavneh College and the Queen’s School, Bushey. The visits saw Oliver spend time talking with pupils and staff, seeing first-hand the work they get up to, as well as question & answer sessions about his work as their local MP.

Pursuing Campaign on Disabled Access to the High Street

Oliver has welcomed the news from the Government that the Department for Communities & Local Government will be conducting a review into the effectiveness of regulations on the accessibility of buildings to disabled people.

Christmas Card Competition 2017

Oliver  is launching a local competition for the design of his Christmas cards this year!

The competition is for all children of primary school age who live in Hertsmere, and the winning four designs will receive 100 copies of their own card and a prize.

Oliver Secures Commitment to the Future of Potters Bar Hospital

In a meeting with Herts Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the NHS body responsible for commissioning health services in Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden, Member of Parliament for Hertsmere, has secured a commitment that Potters Bar Community Hospital will be remaining open.
